Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav today paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary and greeted people on National Youth Day. Several programmes related to youth, yoga and good governance were organised on this occasion.
“On the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and on National Youth Day, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav paid tribute to him. He said Swami Vivekananda showed the path of service to society through spiritual strength and ideas, and inspired the youth to take an active role in nation-building. A state-level mass Surya Namaskar programme was organised today at the Government Subhash Excellence Higher Secondary School in Bhopal in the presence of the Chief Minister. He said yoga and Surya Namaskar bring energy, discipline and excellence in life.
Under the resolve of good governance and self-rule, the “Sankalp Se Samadhan” campaign will be conducted in four phases from today till 31 March so that the benefits of government schemes reach eligible people directly. Meanwhile, the Khelo MP Youth Games are being inaugurated today at the Water Sports Academy in Bhopal. The event will provide a platform for young athletes of the state to showcase their talent. A special attraction of the opening ceremony will be a 4K water projection, offering spectators a modern and cinematic experience.
