Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey has said that due to excess water in the Ghaggar River, the crops of farmers have been damaged at many places in the Sirsa district. He was on a two-day visit to Sirsa district to assess the flood situation.
Addressing the media today on the second day of his visit, he said that due to the overflowing Hisar Ghaggar drain, farmers have suffered a lot. He said that he had heard the problems of the farmers and assured them he would take them up with the Central and State governments.
