Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr L. Murugan has accused the ruling DMK of unnecessarily acting against the State Governor R.N.Ravi. Interacting with the media in Coimbatore today, the Minister said that the Karur stampede incident was unfortunate and said that the Government is waiting for the fact-finding committee report by the NDA delegation. He criticised the DMK Government for unnecessarily removing certain news channels from the Government cable TV service.
