Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh called on the representatives of Myanmar’s new Government in Nay Pyi Taw, including Vice Presidents U Nyo Saw and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye and Foreign Minister U Tin Maung Swe yesterday. In a social media post, he said that India is committed to further strengthening its multifaceted bilateral cooperation with Myanmar. He noted that India and Myanmar are close partners with age-old ties, as well as land and maritime neighbours.
