In Manipur, the mortal remains of Thanlon MLA Vungzagin Valte arrived at his residence in Churachandpur district today. The MLA expired on the 20th of February at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, and Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand paid his last respects to the late MLA the next day at the Hospital.
Upon arriving at the mortal remains of the late MLA from Aizawl of Mizoram today at Churachandpur, a large number of people from the districts came out and received the body. Later, they pay their respects to the late MLA. The Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, also visited the residence of the late MLA in Churachandpur district today. He paid his respects to the mortal remains by laying a wreath and a shawl in honour of the departed.
The Governor met the bereaved family members and expressed his heartfelt condolences. He conveyed his sympathies during this moment of profound grief, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and wished strength and courage to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
Manipur State Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh also paid his respects by laying a wreath and a shawl as a mark of solemn respect.
