Monsoon Session of Gujarat Legislative Assembly Concludes

The monsoon session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly concluded today. On the last day today, the CAG report was presented in the Assembly House. Apart from this three bills were presented in the House today. During the three-day session, a total of 225 starred questions were presented in the House for oral answer. Out of which, a total of 29 questions were discussed orally in the House.
A total of Five Government Bills were passed in the House during this Session. Also, a Government Resolution Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of Operation Sindoor was also passed unanimously.
The Gujarat Legislative Assembly today passed the Factories Act (Gujarat Amendment) Bill, 2025. Introducing the bill, Labor and Employment Minister Balvantsinh Rajput said that this amendment will give women the opportunity to work legally in the night shift with their consent. He called this bill an important decision keeping in mind the constitutional rights of women workers to equality, profession, independence, and economic gain.
Another, The Gujarat Medical Practitioners Amendment Bill was passed in the Gujarat Assembly today. Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, while introducing the bill, told the House that the main purpose of this law is to make arrangements for the registration of Ayurvedic and Unani practitioners and to maintain the registration register of Ayurvedic and Unani doctors in the state.
