The monsoon rains continue to wreak havoc in Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rainfall, landslides, and cloudbursts have severely disrupted roads and power supply.

According to the State Emergency Operation Center, 313 roads, including two national highways, remain closed to traffic. In this monsoon season so far, the number of people who have lost their lives in rain-related incidents has risen to 261, while 37 people are still missing.
