The monsoon is active in Himachal Pradesh, and continuous rainfall in most parts of the state is affecting daily life. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rainfall at several places until 15 August.

In particular, from 11 to 14 August, the monsoon is expected to show its severe form. During this period, an orange alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rainfall at different locations in the state. The Meteorological Centre in Shimla has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in most districts of the state in the next 24 hours.
