Ministry of Minority Affairs signs MoU with IIT Patna under PM VIKAS scheme

The Ministry of Minority Affairs today has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Institute of Technology Patna under the PM VIKAS scheme to promote skill development among minority youth.
 
The Ministry informed that under the initiative, 600 minority youth from Bihar will be trained in emerging job roles such as Artificial Intelligence Technocrat and Business Analytics Executive. The programme aims to equip participants with industry-relevant skills and improve their employability.
 
The collaboration is part of the Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan scheme, which focuses on bridging the skill gap and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities through modern, technology-driven training.
 
The Ministry said that partnering with premier institutions like IIT Patna will ensure quality training, better industry exposure, and enhanced placement opportunities for the beneficiaries. The agreement was exchanged in the presence of Ministry Director Neha Giri and IIT Patna Director Professor T. N. Singh, along with senior officials.
