Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today paid tribute to Param Veer Chakra awardee, Captain Gurbachan Singh Salaria, on his Balidan Diwas. In a social media post, Mr Singh remembered Captain Salaria for his supreme sacrifice and unwavering valour in the face of overwhelming odd. The Defence Minister also commended Captain Salaria for his outstanding leadership in the Congo mission. He added that his courage and sacrifice will continue to inspire India’s resolve and spirit.
