Minister of State for External Affairs, and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh, will be on a two-day visit to Iceland, starting Thursday. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that, during his visit, the Minister is scheduled to participate in the second edition of the India-NordicTrack 1.5 Dialogue, where he will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session.
Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh will also hold meetings with the Speaker of Icelandic Parliament, the Foreign Minister of Iceland, and other dignitaries participating in the Dialogue. He will also interact with the Indian community in Iceland. The statement from MEA added that the upcoming visit by the Minister to Iceland will strengthen India-Iceland ties as well as the interaction between the strategic and research communities of India and the Nordic countries.
