Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today inspected the progress of the six-lane Shamlaji-Mota chiloda section of National Highways-48 near Himmat Nagar in Gujarat today. He was accompanied by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and officials from the National Highways Authority of India. National Highway 48 is an essential link of the Golden Quadrilateral connecting Gujarat and Rajasthan. Mr. Gadkari inspected key infrastructure work and also reviewed the quality, safety, and speed of implementation. Except for three road overbridges, all the infrastructure on the highway is expected to be completed by March 2026.
