The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh during the night and early morning hours today.

Similar conditions are expected in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Odisha, and the Northeast over the next two days. Minimum temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over Northwest India during the next 3 days.

Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is predicted over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal this weekend, with isolated thunderstorms likely in Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
