Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today inaugurated the new Ramakrishna Mission College at Nongthymmai, Mawsmai in Sohra.
While addressing the occasion, Mr. Sangma said, this is the very first college by the Ramakrishna Mission in the entire Northeast. Highlighting the importance of education, he said, the state government has spent 15 per cent of its budget on education worth three thousand 600 crore rupees in this financial year.
