Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K. Sangma arrived in Imphal today on his two days visit to Manipur. Mr. Sangma said that political parties, all stakeholders and representatives of all communities living in Manipur need to work together to bring peace and normalcy in the State. He said that co-operation and trust among the people living in Manipur is key to bring communal harmony.
Later, Meghalaya Chief Minister also met representatives of different organisations in Imphal. He also called on Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar. In a social media post, Mr. Sangma said NPP remains firmly committed to working alongside the people of Manipur to foster peace, harmony and lasting progress.
