Mega Tinkering Day initiative under NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has made it to the list of India Book and Asia Book of Records. NITI Aayog today informed that its initiative has created a record for the maximum number of students participating in a tinkering activity in a single day.

 

 

It said that over 4 lakh 73 thousand students from over nine thousand Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) schools came together to design a solution for Swachh Bharat that streamed online on 12th of this month. During this session, students built their own DIY vacuum cleaners. This record was officially recognised today.
