Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Sibi George, has called on Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres. In a social media post, the External Affairs Ministry said that during the meeting, Mr George underscored India’s strong commitment to multilateralism.

It added that they exchanged views on UN reforms and imparting a greater voice to the Global South, which India has consistently championed, including through initiatives such as India-UN Development Partnership Fund.
