Secretary (West) of the External Affairs Ministry, Sibi George, today met with the Foreign Minister of Iceland, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir. In a social media post, the External Affairs Ministry said that both sides discussed the implementation of the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement. It added that the discussions were also focused on issues of bilateral, regional and multilateral interest and the positive progress made in bilateral engagement in recent years, especially in geothermal, fisheries and the clean energy sector.
