Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs Sibi George today met the Acting Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme, Haoliang Xu in Delhi and discussed collaboration between the two to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and digital transformation. The Ministry of External Affairs said that India is currently offering assistance to foster South-South cooperation to achieve SDGs and address climate action in developing countries. They also discussed the evolving dynamics in the United Nations and the need for reforms as the body turns 80 this year.
