The External Affairs Ministry’s Fact Check Unit has debunked claims on social media that India shared the Iranian ship location with Israel, terming these claims as false and baseless. It has asked people to stay alert against such false and baseless claims on social media. The Ministry has also termed as fake the claims on social media that Bahrain has captured an Indian spy on treason charges.
