The India Meteorological Department, IMD has forecast thunderstorms and hailstorms over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and East Rajasthan today. Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds is expected over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Rajasthan for the day. The Met Department has also predicted thunderstorms with lightning over West Madhya Pradesh. The weather agency has said dense fog conditions will prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

 

According to IMD, maximum temperatures are likely to fall by two to four degrees Celsius across parts of Northwest India till tomorrow. Also, minimum temperatures are expected to rise by two degree Celsius over Gujarat, southern parts of Maharashtra, Central India and East India during the next two days.
