Manipur State Commission for Person with Disabilities has instructed all banks in the State to provide all provisions to the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in their premises under the law. Upon receiving various complaints from PWDs regarding their accessibility to the banks and other difficulties, the Commissioner of Manipur State Commission for Person with Disabilities has taken up a Suo Moto Case. The Commission instructed all banks to provide necessary physical infrastructure and digital banking platforms for its PWDs customers.
