In Manipur, Manipur Police organised Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Bike Rally as a run up to the 79th Independence Day  at Imphal. The rally was flagged off by the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla. The rally saw large participation of bikers who covered more than thirty kilometers to reach the Khongjom War Memorial in Thoubal district. Speaking at the event, Mr. Bhalla said that the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeks to instil pride and strengthen the emotional bond between citizens and the spirit of patriotism. He also noted that the Prime Minister’s vision calls upon every citizen to embrace the Tiranga and actively contribute to nation building. The Governor further said that the Tiranga represents sovereignty, strength and the collective aspirations of the nation and must be upheld by all.
