In Manipur, Class 10 board Examination to be conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur, BOSEM will begin from tomorrow. The examination will continue till the 23rd of next month.
Addressing a press briefing today at Imphal, the Secretary of BOSEM said, thirty six thousand seven hundred twenty five(36725) candidates are appearing this year and the examination will be conducted at one hundred sixty one examination centres spread across the State. He further said, among the appearing candidates, three hundred ninety two candidates are Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who are taking shelter at different relief camps.
The authority has appointed Nodal Officers and Inspection teams for the examination centres located in hill districts while thirty six Inspection Teams and twelve Special Teams have been constituted to monitor examinations at valley districts. A control room has also opened for examination.
Meanwhile, Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh and other leaders of the State extended wishes to students appearing in the exam.
