A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed today between Government of Manipur and Government of Uttar Pradesh for implementation of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. The MoU contains various activities including Cultural Exchange Programs. The MoU will come into force from the date of signing and will be valid for three years which may be renewed for another three years by mutual written consent of both sides.

The Government of Manipur was represented by Commissioner (Art & Culture)  M. Joy Singh and the Government of Uttar Pradesh was represented by Special Secretary (Culture) Ravindra Kumar.

The signing ceremony of MoU was held at Gomti Nagar in Lucknow which was organised by Department of Tourism & Culture of Uttar Pradesh which was attended by the Minister of Tourism & Culture of Uttar Pradesh Jayveer Singh, Minister of Higher Education of Uttar Pradesh Yogendra Upadhyay, the State Principal Secretary (Tourism & Culture) Mikesh Kumar Meshram.
