Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today inaugurated the newly constructed building of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya in Maharashtra’s Washim district through video conferencing. Among the total 28 newly constructed PM SHRI schools across the country, the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Washim is one of them, and all these schools were dedicated to the nation today. A grand building of Kendriya Vidyalaya has been constructed on 9 acres of land in the Civil Lines area of Washim city. The school offers quality education for 960 students from Classes 1 to 12. Currently, 488 students from Classes 1 to 10 are enrolled. Located away from urban noise, the new building is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a modern computer lab, library, STEM lab, and well-organized digital teaching infrastructure.
On this occasion, Resident Deputy Collector Vishwanath Ghuge, Education Officer Mangal Dhupe, District Supply Officer Dadasaheb Darade, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Atul Moon, and a large number of citizens from Washim city were present.
