Khelo India Youth Games: Maharashtra maintains top position with 97 medals, including 37 Gold

In the Khelo India Youth Games, Maharashtra continues to dominate the medal tally with 97 medals, including 37 gold and 31 silver.
Rajasthan has secured the second position with 39 medals, comprising 19 gold and 9 silver, while Karnataka holds the third position with 47 medals. In the 100-meter race, Aditya Pisal of Maharashtra added another feather to his state cap by winning the gold medal with a fast finish of 10.62 seconds. Bihar sprinter Prince Kumar clinched silver. Bihar secured its second silver medal of the day in the 400-meter race, while Uttar Pradesh’s Piyush Raj won the gold medal.
In the boy’s fencing event in the sabre category, Arlin AV of Tamilnadu clinched gold, defeating Kulraj P. Sharma of Chandigarh.
Gymnastics events were held today at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. In Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Nishika Agrawal from Telangana clinched the gold medal. Anushka Patil from Maharashtra secured the silver, while her state-mate Sara Rawool earned the bronze medal.
In the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Final, Maharashtra’s Subhashree won the gold medal, while Parina also from Maharashtra claimed the silver. Mishika from Haryana secured the bronze medal in this event.
In the Hoop Final, Maharashtra’s Parina bagged the gold medal. Racheal Deep from Delhi took silver, and Maharashtra’s Devangi Harshal Pawar earned the bronze.
