Maharashtra Launches Blood Donation, Plantation, and Cleanliness Drives to Celebrate Seva Pakhwada and PM Modi’s 75th Birthday

In Maharshtra, numerous events, like blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, cleanliness drives, eye checkups and health screening camps were organized across the length and breadth of the state today to mark the beginning of Seva Pakhwada and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday. 
 
 
Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal participated in a tree plantation drive in Mumbai’s Kandivli area and said that Mr. Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign has inspired people to create a deep connection with mother, soil and nature.
 
 
Maharashtra’s Minister for Skill Development, Mangal Prabhat Lodha joined the Blood Donation Amrit Mahotsav 2.0, organized by Terapanth Yuvak Parishad at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. He also participated in a cleanliness drive organized in Panvel and said that all Industrial Training Institutes – ITIs in the state will take up cleanliness drives across 750 villages to promote the idea of hygiene. 
 
 
Meanwhile, similar drives were held across numerous districts in the state, wherein district officials and guardian ministers informed citizens about the initiatives and encouraged their participation.
