A jawan was killed in an encounter with Naxalites today in the forests of Dirangi and Fulnar villages in Bhamragad taluka of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra. During this encounter, the police destroyed the Naxalite camp. Meanwhile, the encounter continued throughout the day. During this operation, the police destroyed the Naxalites’ camp and seized Naxalite materials. The police remained at the scene until late in the evening.
