The Maharashtra government has requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to order a CBI investigation into the plane crash that killed Deputy CM Ajit Pawar last month. This was stated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai yesterday. Addressing a press conference, Mr Fadnavis said the Mahayuti government will ensure that all doubts regarding the plane crash are cleared. Mr Fadnavis further said that he received a letter from the ally party of the BJP and the NCP, demanding a CBI probe into the Ajit Pawar air crash and discussed it with Home Minister Amit Shah. In addition to the ongoing investigations by the DGCA and state CID, now there will be a CBI probe.
