Maharashtra CM Fadnavis Says Vision 2047 Aligns with National Goals, Focused on Citizens’ Welfare

The Maharashtra government’s Vision 2047 is not only aligned with India’s national development vision but is also centered on the welfare and progress of the state’s citizens, said Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis in Pune today.

He was speaking at the inauguration of ‘NITI Frontier Tech Hub: Reimagining Manufacturing’, an initiative launched by NITI Aayog, held at the Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management in Pune.

A workshop on agricultural value chain development, rural prosperity, and strengthening Primary Agricultural Credit Societies was also organized on this occasion.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister of State Madhuri Misal, NITI Aayog CEO B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, and the Chief Minister’s Chief Economic Advisor Pravin Singh Pardeshi were prominently present.

Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that Maharashtra’s development pace is faster than that of other states, and efforts are underway to further accelerate growth. He mentioned that several large-scale infrastructure and development projects are progressing rapidly, and the state continues to attract new investments.

He further announced that an institution, modeled on NITI Aayog, will be established in Maharashtra to promote data-based analysis and evidence-driven decision-making in various sectors.

Fadnavis added that the NITI Frontier Tech Hub aims to harness advanced technologies to accelerate India’s economic and social development, helping the country achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation.
