On the occasion of Maharashtra State Martyrs’ Memorial Day, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid floral tributes at the Hutatma Chowk in Mumbai to honour the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the formation of the state.
The state observes 21st November as Maharashtra State Martyrs’ Memorial Day to commemorate the courageous individuals who laid down their lives in the struggle for a united Maharashtra.
Several dignitaries joined the Chief Minister at the memorial, including Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narwekar, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Minister for Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani, Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla, and Police Commissioner Deven Bharti.
