Maharashtra Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis today said that the opposition has no vision regarding development. Dismissing claims that Mumbai will be separated from Maharashtra, Mr. Fadnavis said, Mumbai will continue to remain an integral part of Maharashtra. He was speaking to the media in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar after holding a talk show ahead of the civic polls. The Chief Minister also held rallies in Ahilyanagar and an interactive session with citizens of Nagpur.
With less than a week to go for polling for 29 municipal corporations, including Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar among others, political parties are making efforts to reach the electorate. Shiv Sena leader and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a road show in Navi Mumbai, his counterpart and NCP Chief Ajit Pawar held numerous public meets in Pimpri-Chinchwad district.
Meanwhile, NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Supriya Sule also held campaign rallies in Navi Mumbai. MNS Chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray have announced that they will hold a joint rally at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park on Sunday.
