The 77th Republic Day is being celebrated with patriotic fervor across Maharashtra.

Chief of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis unfurled the national flag at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maidan at Dadar in an official function. Addressing the gathering, Mr Fadnavis highlighted the state’s achievement at the World Economic Forum at Davos, where the state secured investment agreements worth nearly ₹30 lakh crore. Further, Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani hoisted the national flag at the Headquarters of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The General Manager of Western Railway and Central Railway, Vivek Kumar Gupta, unfurled the national flag at Western Railway and Central Railway headquarters. Important buildings in Mumbai, like Mantralaya, BMC Headquarters, Western Railway and Central Railway headquarters, have been illuminated in tri-colour lights.
