Maharashtra: All political parties hail Indian Armed Forces’ actions under Operation Sindoor

All political parties in Maharashtra have welcomed ‘Operation Sindoor’, carried out by the Indian armed forces in response to the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Congratulating the armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for carrying out air strikes with absolute precision, Maharashtra Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said India has demonstrated its resolve in the fight against terrorism. He said the very name of the operation signifies the seriousness of the mission, adding that no one can question the success of this operation as video footage has already been made available.
Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde said the operation not only sends a strong message to Pakistan but has also served justice to the families of 26 innocent citizens killed in the barbaric attacks. Deputy Chief Minister and NCP president Ajit Pawar said ‘Operation Sindoor’ has once again proved that Pakistan-sponsored terrorism would not be tolerated.
Hailing the action from the opposition side, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar said the Indian Armed Forces have avenged the Pahalgam terrorist attack by carrying out precise and planned attack on nine terrorist targets and without hitting any Pakistani civilian or Pakistani military facility. Stating that the entire country is proud of this heroic feat, Mr. Pawar extended heartfelt congratulations to all Indian soldiers who have maintained India’s sovereignty and given a befitting reply to the Pahalgam attack. Speaking to the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh after the successful strikes, Mr. Pawar reiterated his party’s support to the government during this challenging time.
Posting on X, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Aditya Thackeray said that terrorism in all its forms has to be eliminated and praised the Indian defence forces for keeping it precise to sites where terrorism was being harboured.
