In Maharashtra, at least nine people lost their lives in a tragic accident late last night in Dindori taluka of Nashik district, after a car plunged into a well. According to preliminary information, all the victims belong to one family and were residents of Indore village in Dindori taluka.

 

The family was returning from a social gathering when their car reportedly went out of control and fell into a water-filled well situated along the roadside. Rescue operations continued late into the night, with teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) deployed at the scene. However, efforts were hampered by a large crowd that had gathered at the site. The rescue teams recovered the vehicle, and the police have registered a case.
