Mahamana Vangmay is blueprint of the country’s cultural renaissance: VP Radhakrishnan

Vice President C P Radhakrishnan today released the second and final series of Mahamana Vangmay: The Collected Works of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President remarked that this collection is not just ink on paper but the very DNA of India’s freedom struggle and the blueprint of the country’s cultural renaissance. He highlighted that during colonial rule, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya firmly believed that education was the most powerful tool to awaken the nation. The Vice President further emphasised that his life serves as a shining example of how education can transform society and strengthen the roots of a country.
Mr Radhakrishnan said, the ethical values and principles that Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya advocated for centuries ago are now reflected in the National Education Policy of 2020. The Vice President emphasised that this policy is a modern-day realisation of his educational philosophy, with the goal of fostering self-reliant, innovative, and socially responsible citizens.
The first series of 11 volumes of Collected Works of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the this day in 2023.
