Mahakumbh Symbolizes Divinity & Vastness, says CM Yogi; Over 1.18 Crore Devotees Take Holy Dip

The Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj continues to draw millions of devotees every day, with over 1 crore 18 lakh devotees taking the holy dip today. Various spiritual events are being organized in Maha Kumbh. In this series, the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha organized Maha Kumbh Mela Mahotsav. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also participating in the Mahotsav.

 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the camp of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha and received blessings from Shankaracharya Sri Shankar Vijayendra Saraswati ji. During his visit, he offered a floral tribute to the statue of former Shankaracharya, Jayendra Saraswati.

 

On this occasion, Mr. Adityanath praised the contribution of the Peetha and said that its revered tradition has played an important role in the public awakening and growth of Sanatan Dharma. He said that till now, 62 crore devotees have taken a bath in the Triveni Sangam and added that this number will further increase in the coming days.

 

Mr. Adityanath also highlighted that the Maha Kumbh is a symbol of divinity and vastness. He assured that the state government is committed to providing grandeur to every event related to Sanatan Dharma and Maha Kumbh.

 

Meanwhile, Shankaracharya Shankar Vijayendra Saraswati ji praised the arrangements of Maha Kumbh and said that this event is a wonderful example of the participation of the government and the public.

 

Mr. Adityanath also visited the Satua Baba Peeth of the Vishnuswami sect, where he met the Mahamandaleshwar, Santosh Acharya Ji Maharaj, also known as Satua Baba.
