The Madhya Pradesh government will hold its first agriculture cabinet in the tribal region of Barwani tomorrow. The development is part of the state government’s efforts to empower farmers at different stages from horticulture to the market under the Farmer Welfare Year 2026. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will chair the cabinet, bringing together 17 different departments: animal husbandry, horticulture, cooperatives, agriculture, and industry. The Chief Minister said the government is going to give farmers a Holi gift. He said that, in this year, dedicated to the prosperity of farmers, the government will encourage all initiatives and innovations that make them self-reliant.
