In Madhya Pradesh, 10 people have died after a tractor-trolley carrying 14 devotees fell off a small bridge into the Abna River in Jamli village of Khandwa district today. The devotees were returning from Durga idol immersion when the accident occurred. Rescue and relief operations are underway, with the district administration and local villagers actively involved in the search. So far, 10 bodies have been recovered, and efforts continue to find the remaining missing people. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy. He announced 4 lakh rupees financial aid for each family of the deceased and instructed that injured individuals receive proper medical care at nearby hospitals.
