Madhya Pradesh Assembly hosts two-day Young Legislators’ Conference with dignitaries

A two-day Young Legislators’ Conference was inaugurated today in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Narendra Singh Tomar, Rajasthan Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Chhattisgarh Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Leader of the Opposition Umang Singhar. Fifty-five MLAs under the age of 45 participated in the conference, including 37 from Madhya Pradesh, 13 from Rajasthan, and 13 from Chhattisgarh. On the first day, the topic of the role of young legislators in strengthening democracy and citizen participation was discussed. Addressing the young legislators on this occasion, the Chief Minister said, “Young legislators, it is our important responsibility to live up to the public’s expectations with humility, communication, and sensitivity.”
 
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India has demonstrated its strength and power in every era. Today, our country is among the world’s superpowers, and many countries are learning from our democratic system.
 
Tomorrow, Tuesday, in the presence of Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, at the closing ceremony of the second day of the conference, the topic “Developed India 2047 – Responsibilities and Challenges of Young Legislators” will be discussed.
