Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today said that Education is not merely a medium for acquiring knowledge but a continuous process of holistic personality development and internalising life values. Mr. Birla added that in today’s changing era, it is imperative for the youth to advance with innovation, original thinking, and technology. He made these remarks while attending the Annual Function of Delhi Public School in New Delhi. 

 

Mr Birla highlighted that through the ‘National Education Policy 2020’, the country’s education system is gaining a new direction, which fosters curiosity, talent, and skills among students. The Lok Sabha Speaker stressed the need to develop a democratic understanding among the youth. He also encourages students to play an active role in realising the resolve of Developed India 2047.
