Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla extended greetings to the countrymen on the eve of Diwali. He also shared his best wishes for the upcoming festivals like Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj. In his message, Mr Birla said, the festival of Diwali is the soul of India’s culture and traditions.

He said that it is not just an occasion to light lamps and celebrate, but also a message of the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. The Lok Sabha Speaker urged citizens to take a pledge on this auspicious occasion to strengthen unity, brotherhood, mutual trust, and equality in society.
