LPG Vessel Apollo Ocean Arrives at New Mangalore Port, Eases Supply Concerns

Amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia, the arrival of LPG shipments has brought relief to the people. An LPG vessel, Apollo Ocean, reached the New Mangalore Port last night around 8 PM, and unloading operations began the same night.

Earlier, the cargo ship Shivalik, which was expected to deliver part of its LPG consignment to Mangaluru, instead unloaded its entire cargo at a Gujarat port. The LPG was later transported to Mangaluru aboard Apollo Ocean, which carried 16,000 metric tons of fuel.

Port authorities have indicated that two more crude oil tankers are likely to arrive soon, though their schedules have not yet been confirmed.
