In view of the prevailing  peaceful situations on the seventh day  of the imposition of prohibitory order under 163 of BNSS in the violence hit Leh district of Ladakh,  authorities, has granted the relaxations in the restrictions in two phases. However,  mobile data services of 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G,  and 5G public Wi Fi Facility 5 G continued to remain suspended today. MHA  has ordered to suspend mobile data  services in Leh till 6 pm on 3rd of October 2025.

The Relaxation today were given initially from 10 am to 2 pm, later considering  the peaceful atmosphere during the relaxation period, the district authorities further extended it till 5 pm in the evening. With relaxation of restrictions, the silence Leh town turned almost lively and people started grocery, essential and vegetable shopping. Workers and labour resumed their works at construction sites. 

 

 Deserted roads also turned lively and traffic on the roads and highways resumed raising hopes for normalisation in the situation. The authorities kept the school, colleges , universities and all other educational institutions closed today as well
