Leaders Pay Tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on Birth Anniversary

 
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan honoured Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his birth anniversary today. In a social media post, he said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay led a life of profound thought and utter simplicity. He added that at the time of his passing, he had just 5 rupees in his pocket. Mr Radhakrishnan said that he envisioned a Bharat rooted in culture, driven by compassion, and guided by integral humanism. The Vice President said that his life was a testament to Ekatma Manavta Vad. He was a true servant of Bharat.
 
 
Remembering Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was the great son of Mother India and the pioneer of Integral Humanism. In a social media post extending his homage, Mr Modi said that his nationalist ideals and the principle of Antyodaya, which guided the nation towards prosperity, will continue to be invaluable in the development of a prosperous India.
 
 

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Delhi BJP president Virendraa Sachdeva paid floral tribute to Deendayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary today. Deendayal Upadhyaya was a senior leader of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the forerunner of Bharatiya Janata Party.

 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has paid tribute to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh’s founder, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, on his birth anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that Mr Deendayal, through his philosophy of Integral Humanism, emphasised the importance of viewing the individual, society, and the nation as an integral whole, stressing moral and cultural upliftment alongside economic progress. He added that Deendayal Ji’s principles of ‘Cultural Nationalism’ and ‘Antyodaya’ are truly inspiring for every patriot.
