A solemn wreath-laying ceremony marked the 26th Kargil Vijay Diwas at the Kargil War Memorial in Drass, Ladakh, honouring the brave soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War. Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavender Gupta, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, and senior military and civil officials paid floral tributes to the fallen heroes.
