In Ladakh, as part of the preparations for the forthcoming 79th Independence Day celebrations, a vibrant and patriotic programme was held today at the Sports Stadium, Zanskar.

 

The day began with a full dress rehearsal, followed by the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by Naib Tehsildar Jan Mohammad. A spirited Tiranga Rally was then organised under the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhta – Swatantrata Ka Utsav, Swachhta Ki Sang”, also carrying the social message of Nasha Mukt Abhiyan.

 

 

Students participated enthusiastically, marching through the main areas of the town with the National Flag and raising patriotic and awareness slogans. The event concluded with a collective pledge to work towards a cleaner, stronger, and drug-free Zanskar.
