In Ladakh, Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Dr. (Rtd) BD Mishra, felicitated Rinchen Youdol, International Para Taekwondo player, for her historic achievement at the recently concluded World Para Poomsae Taekwondo Championships held in Bahrain. Rinchen secured a Bronze Medal, making her the first athlete from Ladakh to achieve this honour in an international Para Taekwondo competition.

Dr. Mishra hailed Rinchen’s achievement as a proud moment for Ladakh, emphasizing her determination and hard work.

The Lt. Governor also highlighted how Rinchen’s success serves as a source of inspiration for the youth of Ladakh, urging them to pursue their dreams with similar dedication.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for Ladakh, reflecting the region’s growing presence in the global sports arena as well as the focus of the Newly Created UT towards promoting the Sporting talent of the youths.
