In Ladakh, as part of the Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrations, the Captain Anuj Nayyar All Ladakh Football Championship concluded today at the Astro Turf Stadium, Kurbathang, Kargil. The tournament was organized by Indian Army in collaboration with Kargil Football Association and is dedicated to the supreme sacrifice of Captain Anuj Nayyar during the Kargil War of 1999.
A total of 24 football teams from various parts of Ladakh participated in the tournament, reflecting the vibrant enthusiasm and sportsmanship of the youth in the region.
The tournament stands as a tribute not only to the courage of Captain Anuj Nayyar but also to the enduring spirit of Ladakh’s youth.
